These pieces explore a novel ensemble formation, that of the Colombian Tiple and traditional String Quartet.  The music is a fusion of Colombian folklore and the traditions of Western European concert art.  The resulting pieces have a Neo-Baroque sound, as they explore older forms with a fresh approach to harmony and melody.  I am deeply thankful to my performer colleagues, who breath life and humanity to my music.

I acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts,
which made the composition and production of these pieces possible in 2020.
